No guesswork here! Bugatti takes home the trophy for the world’s most expensive car. The only La Voiture Noire to debut at the Geneva International Motor Show a year ago is priced at $18.68 million. The name of the car translates to The Black Automotive.

The new La Voiture Noire packs one 500HP and one 180 pound-feet torsion propels it from 0 to 60 mph in 2.5 seconds. 261 mph high-speed quad-turbo W-16 engine.

La Voiture Noire recognizes the same artistic movement style as the 57SC Atlantic, one of the world’s most in-demand classic cars. The latter was designed in 1934 by Jean Bugatti, the eldest son of company founder Ettore Bugatti. Four types of 57SC Atlantic were created. Three are accounted for, according to a CNBC report, but the fourth lost in WWII is valued at $100 million if recently discovered.

Surprisingly, this exotic car sports a 7,3-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine that produces 789 horsepower. A 6-speed manual case is included. It also has solid metal wheels measuring 20 inches in the front and 21 inches in the rear. The rear wheel fairing is made of carbon fiber. There is no roof, but the Zonda Horsepower Barchetta includes a roof scoop.

The beast is a product of the Italian sports company Pagani Automobili, Horacio Pagani, which made its debut at Speed’s 2018 Goodwood Competition in West Sussex, UK. Interestingly, Pagani reserved one of the three horsepower Barchettas as a 60th birthday gift.
